Stock motor ?
@@Fordfocusstmk3250 yep
Bro why are you getting 14 mpg 💀
hopefully someone replies to this but will this at all cause reliability problems i know tunes can but car crackle tunes worse for it
SAME thing happened to mine . I had the same car and watched all your videos. I got a rod knocking. Send it off a cliff dude.
What rims are those? I need those. Just bought an ls400 with 207k never been happier with a used car.
@@bemad7886 Lexus is250 wheels
"fwd smh" lmao
I wonder if there is or if you can sell a clear version as I’m trying to keep modifications chrome or clear
Would you know if they fit on a ford focus SE model?
Yes they woukd
Is that a roof rack?
Yeah
@@Nickjoenap where did you get the roof rack?
@@YepBornYesterday the previous owner did it. It’s a generic roof rack drilled into the roof
Did you load the drivers seat with your equivalent weight?
I have a small favor to ask that means the world to me. My car needs fixing, and I was hoping you might be able to help. Your expertise would make a huge difference, and I would be incredibly grateful.
You don't explain or show how you did anything
Unless you are lazy. If you don't manage that catch can, oh the trouble.
Would this be the same process for the base model? Can’t find any videos for the se trim
Whats that wing
how can i get remote i have app only .
I luv lexus ❤
PLEASE invest in a gopro
How do they ride?
A little soft for me. Switched to a 12k front and 10k rear spring and was much happier. Got the springs from mxr
I think the Ford Escape 2.0 motor fits
Tbanks
Do you know if these will work if there isn't a turn signal there originally?
Mine just blew too, im gonna cry
Cracked head? Apparently it’s relatively common. Didn’t know it was an issue when I bought my high mileage ST (at 145k now) otherwise I would’ve never bought it.
@nickjoenap; Do they work on a 2016 focus wagon model (EU)?
Hey buddy, What fuel were you running? I’m posting from Newcastle Australia 🇦🇺 Tuners over here will tune with BP98 or with compensating mods E85 Don’t know what octane fuel you have over there in Oklahoma , but the focus hate low octane fuel ….. Hence why they do pistons & rings , don’t be surprised if the engine has blown head gasket also But higher octane fuel is a must
Was tuned on e30
E30 ? What fuel pump is in the ST ?
@@sox666nitro6 stock one
@Nickjoenap so you were always running e30 or did you switch back to 93 every now and then?
@@mediocrefloridaman always e30
Condolences on the 💥 been following ya for years
When you go big turbo get a .86 AR that’s why I have and still on same engine knock on wood 103k miles it’s less strain on the motor
yeah isn’t it better for slower spool with top end where it can atleast withstand the power ?
I’d go .64 if 2867 for faster spool for autox
LKQ is where most get a motor replacement.
Ah man sorry to hear this mate
this is why I sold mine last year, these things are not built to last... even with proper maintenance ;-;
that’s wild i did a full sidewinder kit on mine and abuse it every weekend lol 55k miles 90% track and i have had 0 issues
How many miles on the car?
100,500
wow! sorry to hear that! your videos literally made me get an ST
Oh my. Sorry to hear. Looking around at some of the parts sites I've found complete motors with 20-40k miles but they want north of $4k for them. Good luck with the repairs...
This happened to me like 1 month ago bro is okay I got the performance block from the rs and cherry asf
It’s great that you did this. Many of us watching have projects that we want to do ourselves and we’ll make mistakes too. I am glad that you stuck with it and figured it out.
You can do the t51 and external on a g25 though. Also claytons kit is about 4-500 more expensive than if you just put it together yourself. I have a scooter elbow with a pulsar g25-660 that I put together for under 2k with atp lines and the downpipe adapter, etc. Also car-part for the motor. Please don't get a bws.
I didn’t know that I might do that then
Do you have a way I can contact you and ask more about what all you needed to do this? May go this route
That sucks to hear man your vids are a main reason I got a focus st I really hope you can get it running again 👍🏻
Just a part of owning an ST, I got cylinder 4 ringland though swapped it with an escape motor super ez
Pmax > BWS. I’ve heard theres alot of issues with the BWS because of how hot it runs
I lost cyl 1 at 104k 😢
Sucks man. So far the only major issue I've had with my '16 ST3 is both of the lines going to the heater core started leaking and dumping coolant. I'm at about 127,000 miles right now and knock on wood it's been such a solid car with bolt-ons. Wanting big turbo next.
I had the same happen to my '16, pretty straightforward fix. my '16 has 180k miles and just had the AC clutch coil die. Another easy fix fortunately and other than that its been rock solid too. VERY pleased with it.
Sorry to see this, Same thing happened to me. I went with an SP63 Stage 1 Long block and the install was extremely easy. Best of luck and enjoy the process.
I have a little bit of oil coming out of my symposer delete but car runs perfect, any thoughts on what that could be? Or is that just what happens over time?
Totally normal.
@@greecoboost you trolling or being fr?
@@CozyVillain he's not just being fr, he's being frfr
It’s just blow by which will passes through the intake manifold a lot. That’s why we get such bad valves so quickly on these cars. It’ll be okay, I would just check the o ring and and make sure those screws are set well
@@themaker4216 makes sense, thanks for this info was worried I installed it wrong or something
How many miles?
100,500
Bummer, sry to hear but hope you get a new motor for it. Good luck and thx for sharing.
Im looking at one with 300k miles for $2k is it a good deal?
I’d say that’s fair if it’s in decent shape and doesn’t have major issues
@@NickjoenapI actually did buy it. It has brand new coils, brand new battery and tires and a fresh oil change. It runs and drives perfectly but the only problem is that it’s leaking oil… I’m pretty sure it’s only dripping from the AC line but it could be the oil pan
Also the gauge cluster light went out and I’m not sure how to change the bulb
Bro, where did you get those red allen screws?
eBay dress up bolts
Should reset nautral after messing with gesrs release red/green clip depends on model put in fourth reclip jib done
Thx!! That's look like crazy the first time we try to replace it 😅 So..i buy the oem bulb -before looking at e-bay/Amazon 😅 204$ca 🤦♂️ Thanks again, it much help !
